Life Science Galore

We have done many fun and interesting investigations since the beginning of the year! Here’s a breakdown (with pictures) of what we’ve been up to in science class.

  • We explored the muscular and skeletal systems to help us understand how they function and help support animals internally.
  • We also researched various animals to learn about external characteristics that help them survive.

This week we will wrap up the unit by learning about plants and what characteristics they have internally to survive. Specifically, we will learn what a bulb is, sketch a tulip bulb, and plant them in our community.  We will revisit this part of the unit in the spring when our tulips sprout!
